Is India mentioned in the Bible?

The Medio-Persian empire, the second of the world-wide empires containing one hundred and twenty-seven provinces extended from India (meaning land by the Indus / Sindu/ Indu river) unto Ethiopia (Northern Africa) and covering almost the whole of middle east during the reign of Ahasuerus (Xerxes).

The goods mentioned in the context of Solomon building the first Jewish temple and his palace have a sure Indian connection. It took three years for the ships to travel back and forth to this place from Ezion Geber. Sandalwood was native to the Malabar coast. Peacock and elephant (ivory) are native to the western (Gujarat) and southern (Tamil Nadu) region of India. Ophir mentioned in the first chapter of the Bible as rich in gold is the suburb Sophir / Supara in Mumbai (which gets mentioned along with Kalyan in “Bombay and Western India” – Vol 1, pp 20-21, James Douglas).

Pison, one of the four rivers mentioned that flowed from Eden, is still found as a small stream in the Himalayas. Havilah might be the southern region of India including god's own country, Kerala, southern Thamizhagam and Srilanka - all of this a part of Antartica. Recently there has been news that the land below the Antartican glaciers is the oldest landmass known to man.

There was only one continent then (Pangea). God set aside the waters to expose this landmass. Adam and his descendants tread this land until the global flood submerged this entire landmass. (Don't be fooled thinking that the earth has always had five continents and a global flood is impossible to submerge the entire landmass).
