I saw, I came, I conquered, I AM coming

A short (auto)biography of the Lord Jesus Christ

Chapter 1

Vini, vidi, vici, vinio

Preface
//This is not all! This is not exhaustive! This is not the full story!

I must not have ventured into this ‘daring’ treatise. I should not have written this short ‘biography’ of the One who is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. But I have His word as testimony to all the content. I hope I have been careful enough to base every statement in this book on the Scriptures. Do not consider that every word in this book is ‘inspired word of God’; only the Scriptures are ‘God breathed’. May God forgive me if I have crossed the redline anywhere.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He is God’s only begotten Son that became flesh to show us who God is and how He relates with His supreme creation Man. He is God, the ‘Kada ul’, that entered into time, earth and the heart of man. The story of Jesus spans from eternity past to eternity future. This is unlike history which is time-bound. Space, matter, and time limit mankind while God is beyond these. A biography of such a Person is impossible. Yet, there is a lot we can know from His creation. We can learn more from His Book that reveal His nature, His character, His bearing, and His disposition.
I have managed to compile enough information in a concise manner for the searching soul that cannot rest until one finds answers to life’s pressing questions, 'Who am I?', 'Why am I here?', 'Where am I going?'. While the book in your hand does not contain answers to all life’s questions. it will direct you to God’s word, the Bible and further to God’s Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. Please move ahead beyond this book.

I have chosen to write this book in the first person of the Lord Himself. I want you to relate to Him, even while reading the book. The Lord is speaking to you. (A narrative in the third person might set you, the reader, outside the context. This will force you to remove yourself from the scene that I intend to put you in). All content in italics (or between //forward slashes//) are my words.

To reiterate, you are in this book! Blessed are you if you can find yourself in the ‘autobiography’ of the Son of God. -Author//

//The graphic in the Title page of the book has at least three significant features:

1) The kingdom of Jesus Christ is 'the stone cut out without hands, which smote the image' of Emperor Nebuchadnezzar's dream 'upon his feet that were of iron and clay and break them into pieces', mentioned in Daniel chapter two in the Old Testament of the Bible. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. "In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever" is the Kingdom of Heaven that Christ set up on earth to rule as Lord and King. This happened on the day of Pentecost, fifty days after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, ten days after He was glorified post His ascension to the right hand of the Father. He will remain there until the last enemy 'death' has been conquered by His people on the day of rapture.

2) The stone Jesus spoke about while on earth was about Himself. He said "whosoever shall fall on this Stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever It shall fall, It will grind him to powder". This is a strict and severe warning to His enemy Satan and his 'principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places' and all humans that ally with these against the divine act of building of the church of God. The D'evil, the old serpent, was chained in the bottomless pit already, immediately after the end of the Jewish 'seventy weeks' of Daniel chapter nine. The Lord who has the keys of death and the bottomless pit sent an angel to do this. Since then, Satan has not been able to deceive the gentiles anymore with his lies; multitudes from every kindred, tongue, people and nation have been redeemed by the Redeemer to God by His blood. The Lord has equipped His saints with the armor of God for protection against the fiery darts of the evil one. The disciples of the Lord have been given the power to shatter the power of the enemy and crush to powder the kingdom of darkness. This they will keep doing during the 'time of the gentiles', till the day when Satan will be let loose 'for a season'. That will mark the beginning of the 'time of the end'.

3) The Stone that Jesus spoke about Himself is also the 'rock' on which He intended to build His Church. This household of God is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the Chief Corner Stone; the apostles' doctrines are the foundation for the wall or framework of this 'heavenly city' New Jerusalem. However, He is also the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the Head of the Corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. New Jerusalem is possibly a four square pyramid with equal length, breadth and height. The number of stones that are stacked on and added to this building (the Church) decreases as it nears completion. Some are gold, silver and precious stones; some are wood hay and stubble. Fiery tests of faith that come the way of the 'believers' will burn off the combustible material while the lasting materials will be refined. (Those who come to the Lord emotionally and impulsively seeking temporal benefits are the wood, hay and stubble). Servants of God who build the Church with such 'unbelieving' believers might themselves escape destruction by a whisker - not guaranteed. The Lord is now still building His Church but He is looking for the last few stone in this building which He will complete building with Himself as the Capstone (Head of the Corner) as its apex, in the near future. Each one of the 'living stones' that He has added to the building will resemble Himself, the Prototype.//
