Hallyu is not Hallelujah
Hallyu is the Korean wave (Alai - wave in Tamil; also means wander) that has swept away our children without our knowledge. As the name suggests, our children are wandering around, not knowing that this "Alai" is totally evil.
An elderly gentleman told me a couple of days ago: “I told my granddaughter that South Korea is my favourite country because 85% of the population is Christian. I was thrilled to know that Korea was her favourite country too. I asked her what the football team in Korea is called. She answered “Hallelujah”. Truly, my granddaughter is influenced by their Christian culture!”.
“I noticed some of my students stuck to their mobile phones, singing along with some Pop song groups. Some walk into empty classrooms and start dancing to the tunes of a certain kind of music. After a short enquiry, I found that these are Korean” says a high school teacher in Chennai.
A ‘Christian’ mother says, “My daughter is addicted to the Korean Pop group BTS. She was introduced to this group by her cousin who had been spending hours with such groups through her mobile phone. I am afraid my daughter might want to marry a Korean”.
Suddenly now, our children keep listening to Korean music; they dance to the Pop songs sung by handsome looking boys (and pretty girls); they are stuck to the TV and smartphones watching Korean dramas (even though they don’t understand the language); they fashion themselves according to the singers and actors of these entertainment programmes; many want to visit South Korea at least once; Duolingo, a language learning app has seen a huge jump in users learning the Korean language; Mianhaeyo is 'sorry' (manniyungal in Tamil); Gamsahapnida is 'thank you'; Oppa is a boy elder to a girl with whom the girl is love-struck; and a good number of our girls want to marry and settle down in South Korea. Shocking indeed!
Hallyu (not the Christian Hallelujah) is the Korean wave that originated in the 1990s as the first wave and has now degenerated to Hallyu 3.0, the third wave; it is carrying away more than 1.5 crore Indian children and youth to the deadly depths of hell as of 2021. Gen Z and Millennials are victims to this highly influential global phenomenon (your child might be one. Beware!); they are addicted to one or more of the seemingly innocent entertainments / cultural components: K-Pop (Music), K-drama (Film, TV or Web Series), K-cartoon (Manhwa), K-food, K-fashion, and K-anything. The South Korean government has sponsored this Satanic movement worldwide to gain ‘Soft Power’ over the entire world. (Soft power is the ability to shape the preferences of others through appeal and attraction). Global Media and Entertainment industry has started promoting this ‘wave’ because of the huge revenue that it generates. Fashion industry has grown rapidly with the Korean products in demand worldwide.
The Social networking services like Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube along with WhatsApp and other Web streaming services like Netflix and Disney’s have added fuel to the fire to take this Hallyu to the smartphones that are now in the hands of every child. Children remain stuck to these programmes and have become addicted to the devilish music and carnal content that these items are loaded with. It is altering the behaviour of our children. It has been criticized for promoting racism and sexism. They keep feeding the eyes of the youth with the K-food and K-fashion; the actors in such web series are handsome boys and pretty and good-looking girls; they promote soft porn.
BTS is a very important component of Hallyu 3.0 that generates more revenue than the Hyundai car company. This Bulletproof Boy Scouts group (BangTan Sonyeondan BTS) is a K-Pop group of seven Korean boy singers; none of them is Christian; most of them blaspheme God; all of them support the LGBQAIO+ community; at least four of them dress like sluts. (K-Pop means Korean Popular music -totally worldly and demonic in nature). Fans of BTS proudly (?) call themselves as the BTS Army. EXO, BlackPink and T-ara are similar K-Pop groups. Psy was the first to come out with the Gangnam style singing that became popular very quickly. (Psycho?)
K-Dramas have attracted attention of the youth for their fashion, style and culture. Indian fans relate well to the language which sounds like Tamil and other Indian languages; the culture that the dramas adapt is also well relatable to our Indian culture – not the American or the European kind. Descendants of the sun (Suryavamsam?), Squid Game (the App was banned by the Indian Government because it encouraged suicidal tendencies in children) and Hell bound are some examples of these K-dramas. Our children are hell bound; alarmingly Christian parents are not bothered by these evil influences in their children; they let their ‘heritage of the Lord’ drive to hell at high speed.
Satan, after his release from the bottomless pit from his confinement around the year 1948 / 1967, has gone to the corners of the world to mobilize people (God and Magog of the 'time of the end' as per Rev 20) against God and His people which is His Church. The Devil wants to deceive if possible, even the Elect. So, the Old Serpent, the Antichrists and the False Prophet people are spewing out evil spirits (frogs of Rev 16) that spread doctrines of demons inside the Church. He also influences the believers through the unbelieving masses who have already swallowed the flood of vomit of the dragon (as per Rev 12). Satan tries to bring one deception and another behind it before the previous one fades away from limelight. All of these are centered around three themes - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Hallyu is the latest of this kind. This fad might go away but there will be another one close behind to keep our children trapped.
Don’t ever think that Korea is a Christian country. It is not. While just 29% of the population in Korea is assumed to be Christian, at least 11% of this 29% is Roman Catholic. Nearly 50% of the population say they have no religious affiliation (meaning ‘not Christian’).
Yes, the world’s largest Pentecostal church in the world is in Seoul, Korea – the Yoido full gospel church with 8 lakh members and a Sunday church attendance of 1.5 to 2 lakh every week – but this 'church' was established by a pastor named David / Paul Yungi Cho and his would-be mother-in-law, also another lady pastor (?) both of whom belonged to the Assemblies of God denomination; they preached the prosperity gospel – a false gospel, from 1958 till their death. (Now you know why this church has grown so big!). And the current 525+ pastors continue this dubious legacy.
Beware of Hallyu!
